The Children’s Information Project

The Children’s Information Project has been developed by the Paediatric Service of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and funded by the Special Trustees of Moorfields Eye Hospital to aid and enhance the care of children with ophthalmic conditions. Content on this website is approved by a dedicated team of clinical and non-clinical professionals. The Children’s information Group is made up of:

Alison Davies - Consultant Ophthalmologist Paediatric Service and Service Director for Paediatrics
Moya Lord - PA/Medical Secretary
Florence Donovan - Play Specialist
Penelope O’Hara - Assistant General Manager
Joanna Birss - Children’s Information Project Assistant, Children’s Information Project
Alison Salt - Consultant Paediatrician
Chris Timms - Head Orthoptist
Melanie Hingorani – Consultant Ophthalmologist Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Service
Annegret Dahlmann-Noor – Consultant Ophthalmologist Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Service

The Children’s information Project aim to:

  • produce fun, informative information for children undergoing treatment at any eye hospital
  • engage children through games and activities specially designed to aid in the promotion of eye health and eye related information.
  • encourage all children with eye conditions to have FUN!

Patient and Public Involvement
